Dave, rest in peace.  I was always behind you as E comes before F, and I loved your crooked smile. You were special to me.  I have many fond memories of all of the years we spent together in line, and far beyond.  I wish you love and peace.  Nancy Fisher Wilhelms

Dave Eckenrod, Met you in jr high at Henry clay. It seemed it was always you, Scott praefke and Ward Newell. The wild bunch!  Sylvan Ave neighbor, bartender all over north mikwaukee, always engaging. May you find peace - raising a glass to you. Jim.

Betsy Harvey (Taylor)

I sat next to Dave in 5th grade.  The teacher thought we chatted too much so I was ordered to sit on his lap.  We reinacted the scene many years later at the Brick in Glendale.  Fond memory.  You will be missed.  -Betsy Taylor (Harvey)

Michael Weidman (Weidman)

Dave used to borough my bike to ride home during lunch time at Henry Clay though he lived only a block away. Though I was always wairy, he never failed to return it before end of day.  I remember Ward Newll fondly as well.  He was a paper-boy for the Journal and my uncle Ralph was his manager, therefore I was exxept from any "wimpy",though probably deserved, retrobution.  God bless them all. M Weidman.
